California: woman overturns car killing her boyfriend; she is charged with DUI

A 35-year-old Murrieta woman was arrested Thursday on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated in connection with a crash earlier this month that killed her roommate, authorities said.
Nicole Elyce Campbell was driving a 2005 Nissan Sentra home about 12:15 a.m. May 1, after an evening watching UFC fights, when she lost control on a turn and ran off the road near Guava Street and Adams Avenue in Murrieta, police said.
The car drove into a drainage canal and rolled over, a Murrieta Police Department news release said.
Michael Leroy Keeler, 31, who was riding in the passenger seat, died at the scene, a coroner’s news release said.  …MORE
