Canada: woman who killed while DUI gets 2 years in HOME DETENTION…faces other charges too, but no jail for now

OTTAWA – A 25-year-old woman convicted of a fatal drunk driving crash is facing other drunk driving charges in Alberta.
Dominika Duris, 25, got a two-year conditional sentence Wednesday, sparing her time in jail.
At least for now.
She is now free to face charges of impaired driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level over .08 after a June 7, 2009, arrest in Calgary. She has pleaded not guilty…..MORE
