Louisiana: State Trooper dealing with one drunk driver hit by Magen Alicia Hall; trooper injured

The driver of the Toyota Highlander, 24 year old Magen Alicia Hall of Zachary, LA, was properly restrained at the time of the crash and received minor injuries. Hall was treated at the scene, placed under arrest for DWI, and transported to LSP Troop A where she submitted to the breath alcohol test registering nearly double the legal limit

Maryland: Jason N. Marks nabbed for DUI after crashing into police car and fleeing the scene

A short time later, the vehicle was located behind the Super 8 Motel in the 9900 block, and the driver, identified as Jason Nathaniel Marks, 31, of Temple Hills, was arrested without incident. He was charged with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a collision and multiple traffic violations. He is being held at the Howard County Detention Center on $150,000 bond.

Virginia: Katie R. Reber kicks off the DUI drinking, driving and dying season with arrest and assaulting officer

An officer on patrol observed a vehicle stopped in a lane of traffic. Upon making contact with the intoxicated driver, the vehicle drove off. Officers pursued the vehicle and the driver lost control bringing the vehicle to a stop.

While taking custody of the driver, an officer was assaulted. Katie R. Reber, 34, of Alexandria, was charged with DWI, disregarding police signal, reckless driving, and assault on law enforcement.
