DENVER — 09/06/2014- Police say an RTD bus driver was drunk while he picked up passengers and dropped them off during his route Monday afternoon.
Darren Pettee, 49, was arrested for DUI while on the job at an RTD station.
Passengers onboard Pettee’s bus contacted RTD supervisors after he allegedly drove recklessly and blew through a clearly-marked stop sign.
RTD supervisors pulled Pettee from his route and contacted Adams County deputies. An arrest affidavit indicates Pettee smelled of alcohol and had blood-shot eyes when he …MORE
