LOVELAND, COLO. 10/31/2015 — According to the Larimer County on October 29, 2015, at approximately 4:56 pm, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office received a report of criminal trespass in progress in the 6200 block of North County Road 17 in unincorporated Larimer County / Loveland.

The reporting person said there was a vehicle stuck in the field about 800 feet west of the roadway and a nude man was near the vehicle.  That man was later identified as Keenan Barrow Hunt (01/29/1997) of Fort Collins.

A deputy arrived on scene and contacted Hunt who became combative and physically fought the deputy.  During the struggle, Hunt attempted to remove the deputy’s firearm from his holster.  After struggling with Hunt for several minutes, two brave citizens came to the deputy’s aid and they were able to gain control of Hunt and take him into custody.

The deputy was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries and released.  Hunt was treated at the scene for minor injuries and then booked into the Larimer County Jail on the following allegations:

2nd Degree Assault (Class 4 Felony);
2nd Degree Criminal Trespass (Class 4 Felony);
Criminal Attempt Disarming a Peace Officer (Class 6 Felony);
Criminal Mischief (Class 6 Felony);
DUI – Alcohol or Drugs (Misdemeanor); and
Resisting Arrest (Class 2 Misdemeanor).
