State seeks higher bond for multiple DUI suspect
The state is seeking a bond increase for 31-year-old Adonis Smith of New London, who was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs three times within a 42-day span.
Smith, of 22 Hawthorne Drive, also has a lengthy record of driving with a suspended license, having been charged with the offense 12 times since 1998. He is free on a total of $62,500 for five pending court cases, including a violation of probation charge.   …MORE
