Florida: Alejandro Correa was out to kill on a booze cruise; scored a hit in fatal rear-end crash at traffic light, Giselle Batista is dead, Benjamin Frias in critical condition

ORLANDO, Fla. -A 24-year-old woman was killed and a 30-year-old man was critically injured when a drunken driver rear-ended their vehicle at a red light in Orlando, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Giselle Batista, of Orlando, was killed in the crash, which happened around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of State Road 535 and World Center Drive.  Benjamin Frias, of Orlando, was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with critical injuries, troopers said.

Alejandro Correa, 20, of Orlando, who suffered minor injuries in the crash, was arrested on DUI manslaughter charges and was taken to the Orange County Jail. ….MORE
