A Naples father of four was killed and two others injured Saturday evening in a three-vehicle crash.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports James Riner II, 33, was driving on Golden Gate Boulevard when his car was struck head-on by a vehicle that was forced off the road by another vehicle.
The driver who troopers say caused the crash has been identified as Rene Miles, 40, of Naples.
He is charged with DUI manslaughter, DUI property damage, DUI personal injury, leaving the scene of a fatal crash, leaving the scene of an injury crash, and leaving the scene of a crash with property damage.
Troopers say Miles was traveling on Golden Gate Blvd. when he rear-ended another vehicle, forcing that vehicle to lose control before it struck the vehicle driven by Riner.
Riner’s passenger had minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle sustained serious injures. Her 13-year-old passenger was uninjured.
The crash occurred around 7 p.m. near 27th Street SW.
A GoFundMe account has been set up for the family of Riner, a married father of four boys.

We know one person is under arrest for DUI. Three others were transported to Lee Memorial Hospital.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, it was a three-car crash.
A man driving a Pathfinder crashed into a white Durango. The Durango then crossed traffic and hit an oncoming van.

Riner’s van also overturned several times as a result of the crash and he was pronounced dead at North Collier Hospital Northeast. Jessica Riner suffered a broken hand and was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital.
Beauplan suffered serious injuries and was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital where she was listed in stable condition Sunday night. A passenger in her SUV, Dreamson Beauplan, 13, was not hurt.
Miles was not hurt and the FHP report said that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The FHP also reported that Miles initially left the scene of the crash.
