Joel Alan Good told Eustis Police Officers that a taser wouldn’t take him down as he is a Marine; it took seven times to subdue him during DUI arrest
FROM DAILY COMMERCIAL
EUSTIS – When a man stopped for drunk driving on South Center Street refused to step out of his pickup truck Thursday officers threatened to shoot him with a stun gun.
He told him it wouldn’t hurt him because “I’m an [expletive] Marine.”
He was right. It took two Eustis police officers, a little arm twisting — literally — and seven shots of double-pronged tasers before officers were able to handcuff the 5-foot-11, 200-pound man and put him in their squad car.
When it was over, Joel A. Good, 32, of Green Bay, Wis., was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and resisting an officer without violence. More
