ORLANDO, Fla. — A mother is under suspicion of driving under the influence after a crash that killed her 14-year-old daughter, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Melissa Johnson was driving on Overland Road at about 5 p.m. when she lost control of the car and the vehicle overturned in a ditch, according to a police report.
Johnson’s 14-year-old daughter, Daquasha Johnson, was killed. Her three other children in the car, ages 16, 11 and 10, suffered minor injuries in the crash.
