GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A Gwinnett County sheriff’s deputy was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Melvin Robinson, 40, had a blood alcohol level of more than twice the legal limit, authorities said.
According to a police report obtained by Channel 2’s Kerry Kavanaugh, Robinson was stopped by Gwinnett County police early Sunday morning after calls about a vehicle driving slowly and swerving on Interstate 85.
