Georgia: Gwinnett County Police charged wrong-way driver Joshua Boone with DUI homicide in death of Kippy Glover
Joshua Boone of Syracuse New York charged with DUI homicide in Norcross Ga. 013117
(Norcross, Georgia) Gwinnett County Police arrested 23-year-old Joshua Boone of Syracuse New York following an early morning fatal accident that left 44-year-old Kippy Glover of Atlanta dead. Police report that the next of kin notification has been made.
The investigation has revealed that shortly after 3 a.m. Boone was traveling north on I-85 in the southbound lanes. The collision occurred just north of Jimmy Carter Boulevard. Glover died at the scene. His passenger, a 23-year-old female from Las Vegas Nevada, was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center with serious injuries. Boone was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Following his medical treatment, Boone was arrested for the following charges and booked into the Gwinnett County Detention Center. He has since bonded out.
