From WXIA TV

Georgia State Univ. Police Chief Joseph Spillane was arrested and charged with DUI by Fayetteville Police on June 18, 2017, Fayette Co. Sheriff
FAYETTEVILLE, GA – Georgia State University Police Chief Joseph Spillane apologized after he was arrested for DUI.
“I apologize if I disappointed everybody — I really do,” Spillane said. “I feel bad about that. You know, I’m human, and it happened.”
Police body cam and dashcam showed Spillane’s arrest in his own personal car in Fayetteville just after midnight on Sunday, June 18 on Ga. Highway 85.
He’s out of jail and back home now — replaying the incident over and over again; wishing he hadn’t gotten into that car last weekend after a long day.
