Richard McAllister stood around the bonfire while teens drank, say police. He is the Douglasville Code Enforcement officer…the guy who comes around and makes sure you have a permit to put up a deck or a shed…

On the day when more than a thousand people paid their last respects to a 16-year-old Villa Rica girl who died in a car crash, more charges and arrests came Friday in the case.
Jason Lark, charged with vehicular homicide in the Feb. 19, 2011, death of Cheyenne Sauls, faced an additional charge Friday in Magistrate Court.
