MOULTRIE — A Moultrie man was charged Monday in connection with a wreck that killed his mother.
William Andrew Shi, 24, of 1706 Fourth St., was charged with driving under the influence and DUI-endangerment of a child under the age of 14 a day and a half after the one-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 319 near Woodmen Road.
Shi was driving the extended cab Ford pickup truck Saturday night when it ran off the road, bounced through one yard and into another before striking two pine trees and rolling into a post supporting a porch, according to a Georgia State Patrol report.
