GALESBURG —A man was charged with driving under the influence after traveling down the interstate the wrong way at a “substantial” speed for four minutes and striking a Knox County deputy’s cruiser head-on.
Benjamin A. Davila was charged with DUI, reckless driving and improper lane usage-wrong way after hitting Knox County Deputy Keith King, 27, on July 13 at I-74 mile marker 41.5, said Illinois State Police Trooper Jason Wilson.
