07/08/2014 — A southwest suburban man was charged and ordered held on $500,000 bond in connection with a Burbank crash that killed an elderly Chicago man.
Nicholas Raspanti, 42, of Hickory Hills, was charged with two counts of aggravated DUI in connection to a July 1 crash that killed 77-year-old Jozef Brzek, according to a statement from Burbank police.
About 6:45 p.m. on July 1, a vehicle traveling northeast on State Road near Mayfield crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on with another vehicle traveling southwest, police said.
