Bond was set at $500,000 today for a Carol Stream man accused of driving drunk when he drove his pickup truck into a freight train locomotive a week ago in Itasca, causing the death of a passenger in his car.
Jeffrey S. Fisher, 39, of the 700 block of Bluff Street, was released Sunday from Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago and was taken to the DuPage County Jail, where he was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, which used to be called reckless homicide. ….MORE
