The initial investigation by Trp. Korry Clark, Indiana State Police-Versailles Crash Reconstruction Team, indicated that a 2003 Honda Accord being driven by Evan Stewart, 27, Shelbyville, Indiana was traveling eastbound on County Road 1000 North near Base Road. Adams vehicle also struck Stewart’s vehicle that was stationary in the roadway.

Stewart sustained fatal injuries in the second collision. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Bartholomew County Coroner’s Office. Adams was not injured in the collision.
