Richardson arrested OWI 2nd/DWLB/PCS 3rd or subsequent
ACCORDING TO THE PLYMOUTH COUNTY SHERIFF, ON 08/30/2021, THE PLYMOUTH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CONDUCTED A TRAFFIC STOP ON A MOTOR HOME IN MERRILL, IOWA. THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE WAS IDENTIFIED AS LONNIE LAVOY RICHARDSON, AGE 54 OF SPENCER, IOWA. RICHARDSON SHOWED TO HAVE A BARRED IOWA DRIVER’S LICENSE AND A DRUG/IMPAIRED DRIVING INVESTIGTION BEGAN. UPON COMPLETION OF THE INVESTIGATION, RICHARDSON WAS PLACED UNDER ARREST, TRANSPORTED TO THE PLYMOUTH COUNTY JAIL, AND BOOKED FOR OWI 2ND OFFENSE, DRIVING WHILE LICENSE BARRED, AND POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA 3RD OR SUBSEQUENT OFFENSE. ALL THREE CHARGES ARE AGGREVATED MISDEMEANORS.
ON 08/23/2021, THE PLYMOUTH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CONDUCTED A TRAFFIC STOP ON A MOTOR VEHICLE IN LE MARS. IOWA DUE TO POOR DRIVING. THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE WAS IDENTIFIED AS JOHNATHAN HOFMEYER, AGE 39 OF ORANGE CITY, IOWA. HOFMEYER SHOWED SIGNS OF IMPARIMENT AND WAS INVESTIGATED FOR DRUNK DRIVING. UPON COMPLETION OF THE INVESTIGATION, HOFMEYER WAS PLACED UNDER ARREST AND TRANSPORTED TO THE PLYMOUTH COUNTY JAIL WHERE HE WAS BOOKED FOR OWI 2ND OFFENSE.
Terriques arrested for OWI
On August 16, 2021, a deputy with the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle displaying poor driving behavior. The driver of the vehicle, Megiell Terriques, age 41 of Sioux City, was arrested for OWI 1st offense.
Peterson arrested for OWI 3rd and DWLB
On August 21, 2021, a deputy with the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle provided a fake name and incorrect birthday to the deputy. Through investigation the driver’s real identification was ultimately discovered and Ranal Peterson, age 45 of Sioux City, was subsequently charged with providing false identification information, driving while barred, and OWI 3rd or subsequent offense.
Hart arrested for OWI
On August 14, 2021, a traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle for poor driving. As a result of this stop, the driver, Amy Hart, age 44 of Sioux City, was investigated for OWI and was found to be too impaired to have been driving. She was arrested on OWI 1st offense.
