Kentucky: Eric Jenkins charged with DUI murder for killing nurse Marie Garmon when he was driving his dump truck

ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. –
  Nearly one year after a Kentucky nurse was killed in a crash, a driver is now charged with her murder.

State police say that last September is when a dump truck driven by, Eric Jenkins, 42, of Lincoln County, crossed the center line on U.S. 62 and hit a van head-on. The driver died a few days after the crash.

It has been 10 months since a woman was killed in what state police call a DUI crash in Anderson County. On Wednesday, a grand jury indicted Jenkins, charging him with her murder.

The Anderson County grand jury indicted Jenkins for murder and driving under the influence. State police tell us the crash killed Marie Garmon, 43, of Anderson County, who was a nurse at Hospice of the Bluegrass in Frankfort.
