Just days after LaRue County Schools Superintendent Sam Sanders was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, another community official has been charged with drunken driving.

Police said Warren’s blood alcohol level was more than two times the legal limit. The responding officer stated in the arrest citation that Warren blew a .204 on a Breathalyzer while elsewhere in the citation his blood alcohol level was listed at .217.
According to the arrest report, when the officer asked him how much he had to drink Warren said he consumed three or four beers .
Warren, 32, was booked at the LaRue County Detention Center early Wednesday morning and released later in the day, according to jail logs.
According to the citation, Warren called police, complaining of a suspicious vehicle along West Water Street. Police Chief Steve Johnson said the vehicle was a few doors down from Warren’s home but police found nothing out of the ordinary upon responding. Warren was watching a neighbor’s home while the resident was on vacation during spring break, Johnson said.
