A Hammond man with a long history of drunken driving led Troop L troopers from the Louisiana State Police on a chase down Interstate 12 Monday afternoon from Tangipahoa into St. Tammany Parish.
According to Troop L spokesman Trooper Nick Manale, troopers were able to finally stop Donald Murphy Jr., 24, of Hammond and arrest him for his seventh DWI offense, reckless operation of a vehicle, aggravated flight from an officer, driving on a suspended license and refusal of a chemical test. ….MORE
