FEB. 20, 2011 — This morning, at approximately 6:40 AM, Louisiana State Police Troop B investigated a fatal crash in St. Bernard Parish on LA 47 (Paris Road) north at Marina Road. Preliminary investigation revealed a 2005 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Cesar D. Carrasco-Garcia (H/M, age 29) of Nicaragua, was traveling south on LA 47, crossed the center line into the opposing left northbound lane.
A 2006 Lexus 330, driven by Ngoc Do (O/F, age 57) of Chalmette, LA, was traveling north on LA 47 in the left lane. The vehicles collided head-on and there is no preliminary evidence to indicate that either vehicle used brakes…..MORE
