CADDO PARISH, LA  – 2013-09-18 —A Caddo sheriff’s deputy is on paid administrative leave following his arrest on a charge of driving under the influence. The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office confirms Lt. Don Gibbs was cited for DWI after becoming involved in a wreck at Buncombe Road and Winder Drive.

No one was injured.

Gibbs called in to the sheriff’s office following the wreck just before 3:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Once on the scene, deputies determined that Reginald T. Lewis, of the 3000 block of Colquitt Road, had caused the accident when he attempted to pass as Gibbs was turning left.  Lewis was charged with passing ….MORE
