PRINCE FREDERICK, MD. (Oct. 31, 2012) — According to Calvert Sheriff Mike Evans, on October 28 at 3:45 a.m. Dep. B. Schaefer was assisting with a vehicle crash that had occurred on Sollers Wharf Road when another vehicle came toward the deputies and failed to stop when ordered to.  The vehicle came in close proximity to where the deputies were standing.  Dep. Schaefer caught up to the vehicle and made contact with the driver, identified as
Everett Lorenzo Ray, IV, 20 of Cheltenham.   Ray was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and possession of marijuana and use of drug paraphernalia, a clear plastic baggie used to contain marijuana, and unlawfully throwing litter.
