Jamar Joseph Nolan, of 44973 Voyage Path, Apt. 305, California, Md., was arrested for DUI on Jan. 1, 2017 by Maryland State Trooper John Pilkerton as he operated a 2017 Hyundai on Md. Rt. 238 west of Dr. Johnson Road in Mechanicsville. With attorney Anne Emery as his mouthpiece, Nolan got a sweet plea deal from St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz. THE DEAL: In return for a guilty plea to the charge of DWI, Nolan was given 30 days in jail with all 30 days suspended and no fine. RESULTS: No time and on fine.

Jamar Joseph Nolan, of the above address, was arrested for DWI on March 4, 2017, by Maryland State Trooper P. Trossbach as he operated a 2013 Dodge southbound on Md. Rt. 235 at Rescue Lane in Hollywood, Md.  With Leonardtown attorney Anne Emery as his mouthpiece, Nolan got another plea deal from St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz on Aug. 16, 2017. THE DEAL: in return for pleading guilty, Nolan was sentenced to 60 days in jail with all but 58 days suspended and zero fine. Since the new DWI arrest violated the terms of his prior two-year probation, Nolan should have been pulled back in to serve the suspended sixty days in jail, but court records do not reflect such an event.

Anna Marie Bell, 48, of 42462 Saint Margaret’s Drive, Leonardtown, Md., was arrested for DWI by Maryland State Trooper Brandy DiToto on Nov. 28, 2013, as she operated a 2002 Chevy southbound on Md. Rt. 5 north of Rt. 235 in Mechanicsville, Md. In a plea deal with St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz on March 9, 2014, she entered a guilty plea to DWI. THE DEAL: a verdict of Probation Before Judgement with 60 days in jail and all of the jail time was suspended as part of the plea bargain. She was fined $92.50. Result: no time and cheap fine.

Joshua Edward Peeling, of 44731 Three Coves Road, Hollywood, Md., was arrested on March 2, 2014, by St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Deputy Matthew Pleisse. In a plea deal with St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz on June 4, 2014, Peeling peeled out of any serious repercussion for his guilty plea to DWI. THE DEAL: with noted Gunslinger Lawyer Kevin J. McDevitt as his mouthpiece, Peeling was given a verdict of Probation Before Judgement with 30 days in jail, all 30 days suspended and a fine of $192.50.
