MARYLAND: Third time was the charm for DWI driver Seth Houseman

Seth Thomas Houseman, 21, of St. Mary’s City, was arrested 11/5/06 by Maryland State Trooper TFC M. W. Laney.  He was arrested for DWI in 2003 in 2005.

Police reported Houseman to be kicking at Sheriff’s deputies during his arrest.  This is the latest in a series of arrests for DWI by Houseman. A profile will look at what happened to him during his prior arrests, how the charges were disposed of, and what if any, consequences were administered by the Judges of St. Mary’s County. 

On January 2, 2007, Houseman entered a guilty plea in St. Mary’s District Court to DWI.

09/22/05 –
The St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Department reports that a citizen telephoned the Emergency Communications Center to report a pickup truck was operating in the Lexington Park area in a reckless manner.

At approximately 2:20 am, the vehicle was observed pulling into the parking area of a housing complex in Lexington Park. The operator was identified as Seth Thomas Houseman, 20, of St. Mary’s City.

After failing field sobriety tests, the driver was taken into custody for driving while impaired by alcohol. Houseman began kicking at deputies on the scene. Deputy William J. Rishel transported Houseman to the Detention Center.

Seth Houseman was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol and resisting arrest.
