Combined Police Warrant Sweep In Carroll Co. Results In More Than Two Dozen Arrests

(WESTMINSTER, MD) – A cooperative effort by multiple police departments on March 16, 2016, has resulted in the arrests of more than two dozen people wanted on warrants or criminal summonses in Carroll County and surrounding jurisdictions.

In the early morning hours of March 16, 2016, police officers from 15 area police departments moved out across Carroll County, which is on the border of Maryland and Pennsylvania, attempting to locate persons living in Carroll County who are wanted on criminal charges in this county or Baltimore County, as well as Adams and York counties in Pennsylvania.  By early afternoon, 28 people were under arrest and 33 warrants and/or criminal summonses had been served.
