A North Andover woman accused of drunk driving crashed into a State Police cruiser early Friday morning on I-93 in Stoneham, according to a State Pollice press statement.
At 12:35 a.m., police responded to a car accident involving a State Police cruiser on I-93, according to the statement. A State Police trooper was inside the cruiser when it was struck by the alleged drunk driver, according to the statement. The trooper was taken to Lahey Clinic for treatment of back and neck pain, and he was treated and released, according to police.
