PACIFIC • A Pacific police officer was arrested for driving while intoxicated by a Franklin County sheriff’s deputy early Tuesday morning, Franklin County officials said Wednesday.
In a release, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office officials said a deputy was traveling through the Pacific City Park area when he was passed by what appeared to be an unmarked police vehicle at a high rate of speed. The deputy followed the other vehicle until it pulled into a driveway on Old Gray Summit Road. The deputy approached a man who got out of the vehicle.
