Montana: Judge John Larson sends Steve Ray Combs to slammer for five years for 7th DUI conviction; had wild flight after leaving Eagles Club

A 50-year-old Florence man who pleaded guilty last month to his seventh charge of driving under the influence was sentenced Thursday to five years in the Department of Corrections.
Missoula County District Judge John Larson also sentenced Steve Ray Combs to one year, suspended, on a charge of misdemeanor negligent endangerment.
Combs was arrested in August for driving drunk, almost striking a pedestrian and a cyclist, and running at least one red light during an erratic trip down Garfield Street, Brooks Street, Higgins Avenue, Broadway, May Street and McCormick Street, where a police officer stopped him.
