Montana: Loren Spotted Eagle admitted he was drunk when he killed Jason Jowett in crash

A man charged in the death of a Wisconsin man after a drunken driving accident pleaded guilty to two felony charges Wednesday.
Loren Spotted Eagle, 30, changed his pleas during a hearing with District Judge Thomas McKittrick. Spotted Eagle admitted to being drunk when his vehicle slammed into a pickup on 10th Avenue South on the night of June 3, killing the pickup’s passenger, Jason Jowett, and injuring three others.
“I got drunk on (June) third and came from the Flamingo. I hit a pickup truck that was at the intersection,” Spotted Eagle said at the hearing.
When McKittrick asked Spotted Eagle how much he had consumed, Spottedeagle said he had about eight pitchers of beer….MORE
