Fatal crash in stolen truck began with a car for sale ad on Craigslist

An ad on Craigslist may have started a reckless chain of events leading to the death of an innocent woman. A car theft led to a police pursuit and a deadly crash.

A ‘car for sale’ ad on Craigslist is what law enforcement sources say started a chain of events that took an innocent woman’s life on Wednesday.

Detectives with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department say 26-year-old Oriana Leausa and her boyfriend set up a meeting with a man wanting to sell a BMW. The meeting happened at a northwest valley parking lot. MORE
