LAS VEGAS — During the first day of testimony in the trial of a man charged in the DUI death of an 18-year-old college student, the family and friends of Lindsay Bennett were brought to tears. Prosecutors said that on April 15, 2009, Ukrainian-born Vladimir Lagerev drove the wrong way on a ramp at the 215 Beltway and Windmill Parkway, crashing into Bennett’s car.
