Boozing firefighter found guilty

NASHUA – The former city firefighter who was allegedly drunk when he slammed into Mayor Donnalee Lozeau’s car last fall will be in court today to fight a DWI charge.
Jared Poloski, 36, of 3 Wilson St., was arrested Sept. 24 after an accident at the corner of Lake and Pine streets. Police say Poloski was drunk when his pickup truck slammed into a car driven by the mayor.
Poloski was on medical leave from the fire department at the time of the crash and was later suspended. He resigned March 7, citing personal reasons, according to Fire Rescue Chief Brian Morrissey. ….MORE
