HOOKSETT, N.H.  (11/28/2015) — An honest impaired driver! According to Hooksett Police, on October 21st, 2015 at 12:13 AM, Officer Mannon responded to the parking lot of the Irving at 28 West River Rd. to check the welfare of a male sleeping inside a vehicle. When Officer Mannon approached the vehicle, its engine was revving. The male occupant in the driver’s seat was slumped over the wheel, sleeping with his foot on the gas while the vehicle was running. Officer Mannon was able to wake up the male and he was identified as Dereck Cincevich, 29, of Hooksett, N. H.
While speaking with Cincevich, it became apparent that he was under the influence of alcohol. Cincevich was asked to submit to field sobriety tests which he at first agreed to. While Officer Mannon was explaining the tests, Cincevich suddenly put his hands out and told Officer Mannon that he was not doing the tests and to arrest him.
Cincevich was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated without incident. At the Hooksett Police Department, Cincevich agreed to a breath test and the results showed his breath alcohol content a 0.13. Cincevich was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and it scheduled to appear before the 6th Circuit Court in Hooksett on November 4th, 2015.
