SPARTA — A Sparta woman was charged with driving while intoxicated Tuesday for the third time in eight months after she crashed her car into a ditch and then kicked out a patrol car window and spat at rescue workers, police said.
Jenifer Towle was charged with DWI, refusal to submit to breath testing, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, resisting arrest, consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, reckless driving and several other equipment and documentation violations….MORE
