Deputy responded to location in reference to a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival to the location they observed a vehicle missing the front bumper. The driver admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages prior to the crash. The suspect displayed signs of intoxication and was given SFST’s. Driver was arrested and submitted to chemical testing. The results of the tests were . 16/.17. Subject was booked into jail.

Suspect:  Marcos A. Deleon, 28, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, Providing Alcohol to Minors

On Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 3:31 AM deputies responded to the location in regards to a call of the suspect driving to the location to post a bond and possibly being impaired.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.  The suspect also provided beer to the 19 year old male passenger in the vehicle.

Location: State Road 599 @ Interstate 25

Arrested: Barbara Sanchez (20), Santa Fe, NM

Driver was pulled over for failing to stop at a red light.  Driver showed signs of impairment during the standardize field sobriety test and was arrested.

Arrested: Austin Callabaza, 22, male (Grand Prairie Texas)

suspect was traffic stopped for a speeding violation. Suspect to be heavily intoxicated and submitted to field sobriety tests. Suspect was arrested and submitted to a breath test which results were .17 .16. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center without further incident.

Arrested: Travis Sjorstrom 35 yoa male (Los Alamos)

Deputy was dispatched to assist Pojoaque Tribal Police who had stopped a motorist for being unable to maintain a lane of travel. Deputy arrived and administered field sobriety tests. Signs of impairment were noted and subject was arrested. Subject had a breath alcohol content of .16. Subjects vehicle was seized in accordance with county ordinance due to a prior DWI.

Suspect:  Genevieve R. Dewing, 22, Santa Fe, NM

 

Charged:  DWI, Stop Sign Violation

On Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 1:16 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location and failed to stop for a posted stop sign.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and submitted to a Blood Alcohol Test.  Results of that test are pending.

Location: State Road 503, Santa Fe, NM, 87506 (Nambe area)

Arrested: Pablo Quintana, 42 years old, Santa Fe, NM 87506

On Wednesday August 20, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff Deputies responded to the area of State Road 503 in reference to a reported motor vehicle crash. Contact was made with the above listed driver. An odor of alcoholic beverages was detected. SFST’s were administered. Driver showed signs of impairment, driver was arrested and transported for a blood draw. Driver was eventually transported to the Santa Fe County Detention Center where he was booked accordingly.

Location: Calle Atajo/ Airport Road

Arrested: John P. Romero 29 yoa male Santa Fe NM

Deputy observed suspect operating a 2005 BMW car traveling westbound on Airport Road almost strike a raised median. A traffic stop was conducted and the suspect was found to be intoxicated and displayed multiple signs of impairment. Suspect was also found to be in possession of a handgun. Suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center without incident.

Paraphernalia

On Tuesday August 19, 2014 at 6:05 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle at an excessive rate of speed at a residence at the location.  The suspect fled from deputies on foot and a Taser was deployed to bring the suspect under control.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and submitted to a Blood Alcohol Test.  Results of that test are pending.  The suspect was found to be in possession of a smoking device containing burnt residue suspected of being marijuana.

Suspect: Jacqueline Perez  Age: 34  Santa Fe

Driver was arrested for Aggravated DWI after she was located in the parking lot of Nambe Drugs in control of her vehicle and showing signs of impairment.  She refused Chemical Testing and was booked accordingly.
