Amherst, NY – Amherst Police have made an arrest in a fatal hit and run accident that took place Friday night around 11:20 p.m.
Police arrested and charged Dr. James G. Corasanti, 55, Getzville, with DWI and leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
He has been identified as the chair of the Buffalo Medical Group Board of Directors.
Authorities say Alexandria M. Rice, 18, was riding her skateboard near 573 Heim Rd. when she was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. Rice was taken to Millard Suburban Hospital where she later died of her injuries. …..MORE
