New York: driver charged with death of his baby’s mother in DWI crash

Syracuse  – Onondaga County Sheriff’s Detectives have filed additional charges against a man who they say was drunk behind the wheel when his car crashed and the mother of his child was killed.
22-year-old Mark Richter has been charged with vehicular manslaughter, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and one count of unlawfully dealing with a child. He was previously charged with felony driving while intoxication as well as violating Leandra’s Law and driving an imprudent speed after he lost control of his 2009 Chevy Cobalt and smashed into a tree on Grampian Road in Liverpool.
23-year-old Debra Brown, the mother of Richter’s child, was killed in the accident.
The additional charges stem from an investigation by Sheriff’s Deputies. The investigators say they discovered that Richter had attended a house party on the 100 block of John Street in Syracuse where he provided Miranda Pellizzeri, one of his passengers, with alcohol…..MORE
