Fairport, N.Y. —A Perinton man faces up to 15 years in prison after striking a woman and killing her with his car  while allegedly driving intoxicated.
He will be arraigned in Monroe County Court on March 9 on charges of first-degree vehicular manslaughter and DWI, both felonies. Shawn Michael Ahern, 27, of  29 Columbia Court, was driving on High Street in the village of Fairport when he struck Grace M. Allen, 90, on Dec. 19.
