New York: Francis K. Wisniewski DWI after rollover; didn’t need a field sobriety test, flipping his vehicle appeared to be sufficient for this turkey…

WARSAW, N. Y. — 2013-09-23 —On September 21, 2013 New York State Police in Warsaw report that they responded to a one vehicle roll over accident which occurred on ST-20A near Humphrey Road in the Town of Sheldon at approximately 10:00 pm.

After investigation at the scene troopers later arrested the operator FRANCIS K. WISNIEWSKI, 48 years of age of Varysburg, NY for Driving While Intoxicated.

WISNIEWSKI had been east on ST-20A when he lost control of his vehicle and left the highway going off the north shoulder of the road, overturning before coming to rest upside down. WISNIEWSKI sustained a minor injury to his knee as a result of the accident and was transported from the scene to Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw by Varysburg Ambulance.

While at the Hospital he was placed under arrest and submitted to a blood test to determine his alcohol concentration. After being released from the Hospital WISNIEWSKI was processed at the Warsaw Station, and he was later released on tickets for the DWI in addition to tickets for: Moving From Lane Unsafely, Operating a Vehicle Without Insurance and Operating With Improper Plates. All of the charges are returnable at a later date in the Sheldon Town Court. Troopers were assisted with the investigation by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department.

Michelle Sardina

COLLINS – Police report that on September 19th Troopers arrested Michelle Sardina,45, of West Main St in Springville for DWI – Drugs, following a traffic stop at around 11:45 that morning.  A 911 call was placed by another driver after the car Ms. Sardina was operating was seen driving erratically north bound on St Rt. 62 near St Rt. 39.  Troopers in the area where able to stop her on Sand Hill in Gowanda, after she reportedly made a U-turn in traffic and started south on St Rt. 62.  She failed a series of field sobriety tests at the scene and was taken to SP Collins, where a State Police Drug Recognition Expert found her to be impaired on prescription medication.  She was arraigned in Collins Town Court and sent to the Erie County Holding Center on $500 bail.

Patricia Kozub

At approximately 12:30pm, after clearing from the Sardina arrest scene, another Trooper arrested Patricia Kozub, 51, of Trevett Rd in Springville for DWI, after stopping the car she was driving on St Rt. 39, near Kerr Warner Rd.  While speaking with her the Trooper detected a strong odor of alcohol and she subsequently failed a series of field sobriety tests.  She was arrested and processed at SP Collins, with a reportable BAC of .09%.  A check of her driving record showed a previous DWI conviction within the past ten years, she was charged with Felony DWI.  She’s due in Collins Town Court later this month.
