According to the New York State Police, on November 30, 2012 the New York State Police in Schodack NY arrested Paula M. Baratto, 41 of Dalton MA for DWI and Harassment 2nd degree. Baratto is a Berkshire County Deputy Sheriff out of Pittsfield MA. She was observed driving erratically on State Route 351 in the Town of Poestenkill NY. She failed sobriety tests at the scene and was arrested. While being processed at the station in Sand Lake NY she kicked the arresting Trooper and was subsequently arrested for Harassment 2nd. She was released on an appearance ticket and vehicle and traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Poestenkill at a later date.
