ALBANY — The news director at television stations WTEN and WXXA, the region’s ABC and Fox affiliates, was charged early Thursday with driving drunk after allegedly leaving his lane and running a red light on Western Avenue, police said.
David J. Ciliberti, 53, of Cohoes, was stopped just before midnight while driving his white Ford SUV west on Western Avenue just past Manning Boulevard, according to police and court records.
An officer pulled Ciliberti over after allegedly seeing him drift out of his lane and drive through the red light at Homestead and Western avenues, police said.
