BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Buffalo Police have charged a driver with vehicular assault in a horrendous crash that injured an off-duty officer and several others.
Buffalo Police say it’s amazing there were any survivors. If you watch the video, you can see headlights coming from the top of the screen down West Ferry Street, and then colliding with another car at Main Street. It was recorded by the surveillance camera at Willoughby Insurance at that corner.
Craig Willoughby of Willoughby Insurance said, “Within about three minutes, thirty seconds, there was a Buffalo cop on the scene. I couldn’t believe it. And then within 10 minutes, they actually had the bodies going into the ambulance, that you can see on the footage. It was truly amazing. It was Buffalo’s finest doing their best.”    ….MORE
