New York: party gal who killed college classmate gets weekends in jail for six months from sob-sister judge

Nearly one year after causing a crash that killed a Nazareth College student, Danielle L. Pitcher will begin serving weekends in the Monroe County Jail next week.
County Court Judge Frank P. Geraci Jr. today sentenced Pitcher to interim probation, which means starting Jan. 20, she will serve weekends in jail through mid-May, so she can complete one final class and graduate from Nazareth College.
Pitcher, 21, of Oswego, pleaded guilty last year to second-degree vehicular manslaughter, a felony, in Monroe County Court. She admitted she was responsible for the death of classmate and close friend Gabrielle E. Acevedo, 21, ….MORE
