SCHAGHTICOKE —Two people were killed in a one-car accident Friday in the village of Schaghticoke.
State police said Philip T. Dobert, 51, of Schaghticoke, was driving a 1996 Pontiac Firebird and lost control while driving south on Route 40 at around 6:44 p.m. Friday.
Police said the vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole.
