South Glens Falls man arrested for DWI in the Town of Kingsbury
12/04/2015 — New York State Police report that troopers from Greenwich arrested Anthony Mitchell, a 63-year-old man from South Glens Falls for DWI after a traffic stop on ST-196 near Burgoyne Rd. on Thursday at 1:55 PM. Mitchell failed several standardized field sobriety tests and was taken to the Greenwich barracks for processing.
His blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.08% and he was charged with Felony DWI due to a previous DWI conviction, as well as several other traffic tickets. Mitchell was released and is scheduled to appear at the Town of Kingsbury court at a future date.
 Bemus Point Woman arrested for Driving While Intoxicated
12/04/2015 — New York State Police report that Lori Scott, Â 54, of Bemus Point, NY, was arrested on Waterman Road, in the Town of Stockton, for Driving While Intoxicated.
Fredonia-based State Police had received a report of an erratic operator in the Town of Stockton. The vehicle was located and stopped after it was observed drifting into the opposite driving lane and then off the right shoulder several times.
Further investigation revealed Scott was Driving While Intoxicated. Scott was transported to the Fredonia State Police Station and processed for DWI. Scott had a BAC of .25%.
Scott was issued appearance tickets for DWI and Aggravated DWI to appear in the Town of Stockton Court on December 28, 2015.
Salerno kicks off the Christmas Drinking, Driving and Dying Season!
12/04/2015 – New York State Police report they responded to a complaint on Nov. 30, 2015, at a residence in the Town of Attica. Troopers met one of the involved parties on the roadside just prior to arriving at the residence, and this interview would lead to the arrest of Kimberly Salerno, 41 years of age of Arcade, NY for Driving While Intoxicated. It is alleged that Salerno left the residence in a vehicle while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Following roadside sobriety tests Salerno was taken into custody and at the Warsaw Barracks submitted to a breath test which resulted in a .11% BAC. Salerno was later released to a third party and will answer the charge at a later date in the Attica Town Court.
Kyle Rutland’s DWI journey included both booze and drugs, say police
(Lockport, NY – November 29, 2015) New York State Police report that Troopers arrested Kyle W. Rutland, 20, for Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana when he Failed to Use a Designated Lane and Moved from Lane Unsafely on Davidson Road.
Troopers immediately detected the odor of alcohol emitting from Rutland. He was administered and failed the SFST’s. Investigation revealed a small plastic bag containing approximately 20 grams of marihuana.
Rutland was issued an Appearance Ticket and Traffic Tickets returnable to the Town of Lockport Court on December 10, 2015.
Bad boy, watcha’ gonna do now? Bryan Eichhorn didn’t have his ignition-interlock! Now charged with felony DWI after a traffic stop
(Laurens, NY – November 30, 2015) New York State Police report that on November 28, 2015, at about 8:27 p.m., New York State Police at Oneonta arrested Bryan R. Eichhorn, 26, of Laurens, NY for the felony of driving while intoxicated with a B.A.C. result of .13% and other traffic violations. This arrest occurred after troopers observed Eichhorn failing to stop at a stop sign then speeding as he drove on County Route 10 in the Town of Laurens.
An investigation determined that he was driving while intoxicated. This arrest became a felony because Eichhorn has a prior conviction for DWI within the last ten years. Also, he was observed driving a vehicle without a court-ordered ignition interlock device. Eichhorn was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Laurens court on December 7, 2015.

Frawley, 31, of Bainbridge, NY for the misdemeanor of aggravated driving while intoxicated with a B.A.C. result of .22%. This arrest occurred after a traffic stop when Frawley was observed driving a vehicle without a working tail lamp while on Maple Street in the Town of Afton. An investigation determined that he was driving while intoxicated. Frawley was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Afton court on December 7, 2015. 31, of Bainbridge, NY for the misdemeanor of aggravated driving while intoxicated with a B.A.C. result of .22%. This arrest occurred after a traffic stop when Frawley was observed driving a vehicle without a working tail lamp while on Maple Street in the Town of Afton. An investigation determined that he was driving while intoxicated. Frawley was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Afton court on December 7, 2015.
NYSP arrested a Homer man for aggravated DWI with a B.A.C. almost three times the legal limit
(Cortlandville, NY – November 30, 2015) On November 28, 2015, at about 10:15 p.m., New York State Police at Homer arrested John P. Nichols, 49, of Homer, NY for the misdemeanor of aggravated driving while intoxicated with a B.A.C. result of .21%. This arrest occurred during a DWI road check that was held on State Route 11 in the Town of Cortlandville. An investigation determined that Nichols was driving while intoxicated. Nichols was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Cortlandville court on December 7, 2015.
 NYSP arrested a woman from Greene for felony driving while ability impaired by drugs after crashing into a porch

(Greene, NY – November 25, 2015) On November 22, 2015, at about 10:04 p.m., New York State Police at Sidney arrested Sarah A. Cahill, 35, of Greene, NY for felony driving while ability impaired by drugs. This arrest occurred after troopers responded to a Chenango County 911 report of a car crashing into a home on State Route 12 in the Town of Greene.
Prior to arriving troopers were advised that the female operator of the vehicle was passed out behind the wheel but then woke up and was attempting to leave the scene. Once there an investigation determined that she was driving while impaired by drugs when she drove off the roadway, continued driving through a field, then struck the front porch of the home. This arrest was a felony because Cahill had a prior conviction for driving while impaired by drugs in the last ten years. She consented to a test of her blood for drugs but the lab results are pending. Cahill was arraigned in the Town of Oxford court and was remanded to the Chenango County jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $2,000 property bond. Her next court date in the Town of Oxford is for a felony hearing on November 25, 2015.
