New York: State Police reports DWI arrests of Leroy Gates and Sara Pulci over Labor Day holiday

COLLINS, N.Y. (08/31/2014) – According to the New York State Police on August 29th Troopers working a dedicated DWI Enforcement detail arrested 51 yr. old Leroy Gates of St. Rte. 438 in Gowanda for Felony Aggravated DWI and Felony 1st degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, after a traffic stop on Taylor Hollow Rd in Gowanda.

At approximately 11:30 pm Troopers stopped him for crossing the center line and while speaking to him observed signs of intoxication.  He failed a series of field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested.  A computer check revealed his driver’s license was revoked for a DWI conviction in 2005.  He was processed with a reportable BAC of .19% and arraigned in Collins Town Court.  He’s due back in court in September.  


Sara Pulci DWI NYSP 083114

At approximately 2:45am the same two Troopers arrested 22 yr old Sara Pulci of West Main St in Fredonia for Aggravated DWI following a traffic stop on St Rtes. 5 & 20 in Hanover.  Troopers stopped her for crossing the hazard line and while speaking to her observed signs of intoxication.  She failed a series of field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested.  She was processed with a reportable BAC of .21%.  She’s due in Hanover Town court in September.
